Smith The Roll Pack 15L with Pockets

I have had an old millican Smith roll top with pockets for around four years, and I've absolutely loved it. So many useful features, sizeable pockets, perfect. Finally gave up a few weeks ago and ordered a new Smith 15l thinking it'd be just the same but slightly smaller. Boy was I wrong. The bottle pockets on the sides are so small and they narrow towards the bottom, so any decent size bottle will not fit at all. Don't even THINK of trying to fit your nalgene bottle in, a task my old bag could do no problem. Additional straps for hooking things to the back and external storage are all gone, leaving no attachment points for anything! Not a huge deal for many people but I see no reason to remove them but to make the bag more useless. The chest strap is significantly thinner and weaker, and one day in I just know it won't last long. Suffice to say the quality of these bags is a much lower standard than it used to be and the excitement I had to get a replacement for my favourite bag had been replaced only with disappointment.

Hi I hope you can help . Unfortunately I left a pear in the side pocket . Of my amazing Millican Rucksack , leaving a horrible stain . Can you recommend anything I can use to remove the stain . Any help would be appreciated.

It lasted a bit more then 5 years.
So I need a new backpack for the next 5 years 😄

Love this bag. It is perfect, very well made, practical for everyday feels like it will last many years.

Wasn't convinced by a roll top but with all the other pockets it functions brilliantly.
