Smith the Roll Pack (25L) has literally ‘got your back’. It’s deceptively simple and lightweight, allowing you to travel further for longer. Geared towards life on the move, from the mountain trail to the city commute, we’ve added discreet pockets for essentials such as your laptop (up to 15"), waterbottle and valuables.

  • Fully adjustable, padded ergonomic shoulder straps
  • Removable waist and sternum straps for cycling and hiking
  • Easy-access padded laptop sleeve (up to 16”) concealed in back panel
  • External zip pocket for valuables, with internal key ring
  • Large external front pocket and two side pockets

my favorite backpack with two flaws

I've had this backpack for about 7 years now and it is my absolute favorite. I use it for work, weekend trips, hiking, grocery shopping and whatever else you could use it for. The one thing that annoys the living hell out of me though is that the straps adjusters don't stay and I have to pull them up again about every 10 minutes. Apart from it being very dirty at this point it is still in great shape apart from the bottom. There several small holes and I already patched one, so this could definitely be improved as it is just the canvas at the bottom with no extra enforcement. For longer durability this would definitely be something to improve on, because otherwise it is still great. But because of the bottom getting worse and worse now I am also hoping to replace it with a new one once it's back in stock.

We’re glad to hear how much you’ve enjoyed the backpack over the years. We’ve fixed the strap adjusters in the upcoming restock and have switched back to Bionic canvas for better durability. The wear on the bottom is something we’re aware of and are continuing to work on improving this in future designs.

need a new one - when back in stock?

I was very happy with that bag. Now, i think after 7 years, the base has a big whole, so to make a stronger base would be great to make it more durable. Now I need a new one, and waiting for this one to be back in stock for some time, can you give informations if/ when the 25L will be available again?

We’re happy to hear the bag has served you well. A restock is planned for the start of February, with improvements to boost durability over the current model. We’re still refining the design for lasting quality and will continue to improve future models.
