The Millican Re-Home program is currently on hold as we coordinate with our repair partners.
Our repairs workshop is temporarily closed and we ask you to please hold off sending any bags to be re-homed until we re-open.

We're committed to giving your well-traveled bags a new lease on life by helping them find new homes, where they can embark on a sustainable journey as refurbished travel companions.

Whether it's backpacks or messenger bags, many of us have those unused bags stashed away. Instead of allowing them to collect dust, send them to Millican HQ, and we'll handle the rest. As a thank you, we'll send you a 10% discount code in exchange for your donation.

We'll repair and refurbish them, then send them back out to embark on a fresh journey with individuals who need them. This supports social initiatives and communities, both near and far, fostering a more sustainable and socially conscious approach.

How it works

Get in touch to receive our repairs address, send us your bag and we'll find a way to reuse it.

  1. Fill out the form below.
  2. Send us your bag(s). See the T&C's below for information on what sort of bags we are looking for.
  3. Once we receive your bag we will email you with your 10% discount code.
  4. We will then sort, repair and re-home your bag, all from Millican HQ.

Terms & Conditions

Types of Bags

At the moment we can only accept fabric/canvas backpacks and messenger bags from Millican. We'd love to accept all your bags, but we sadly don't have the capacity to re-home or repair these products yet, so please take them to your local charity shop when possible.

Please only send bags with life left in them, our local repair team can fix minor bumps and bruises, such as patching small holes, re-attaching straps etc, but can not re-build if your bag is completely unusable. Please do not send heavily-soiled bags either, we do not have cleaning facilities at HQ.

Please avoid sending bags with:

  • broken zips on the main pocket.
  • considerable stains or soiling, internally + externally. we are unable to clean bags on-site.

If in doubt, please email and we can help you decide if your bag is able to be re-homed.

Sending your bag

For now, our repairs address can only be used by residents within the UK (incl. Northern Ireland). We recommend that you ask for proof of postage from the Post Office before you send your bag to us, just in case your package should go missing.

Please send your bag with your full name clearly inside the package, making sure we are able to get in contact with you to send a discount code.

Discount code

Once your bag has been received and recorded we will email you a 10% discount code, which can be used once within an unlimited time period. Please allow up to 14 days from sending, for us to receive your bag and record its arrival.

Privacy Policy

When you get in touch with us we will have to store your email address on a secure database, in order to get in touch with you once your bag has arrived and to send you a discount code. We will also email you where your bag has been sent once we have found the right charity to receive it. Your email will not be used for any other purpose. Please get in touch if you have any questions on this or if you would like us to delete your details from the system at any time.

Who we work with

So far, we have connected with Action for Conservation, the Bristol Bike Project and Craggers: Adventures For All, who have all received your pre-loved bags and introduced them to new homes. We are always searching for new partners and are very happy for charities or non-profit organisations to get in touch with us at to discuss how we can work together going forward.
