Core Roll Pack 20L

I now own three Millican packs. My first purchase was the Smith roll pack 25 that I purchased for my day rambles in and around the Peak District. Loving that pack I took advantage of the cut price sale at the time and purchased the Smith roll pack 18 L which has become my go to pack for daily use. As someone once said; God is in the details. I love the simplicity and functionality of so much. As a father of three girls who love roaming the English countryside and owning two Millican packs I quickly realised I needed to add one more pack so we could all hike together and be self sufficient. Enter the core roll pack 20L. Perfect in it’s no nonsense approach to do just what you need to do. Simple and functional it does what its made to do. Make a good day better..

Great quality bag, no annoying zips and vegan-friendly too. Used every day for my commute to work.

V poor quality. I have returned

Very pleased with purchase. Only negatives would be: a water bottle holder inside or out would be good. Plus it lacks the quality trim of some other Millican gear.

The bag is nice but I wish I had been able to return it - personal circumstances made this too problematic. At least I didnt pay full price for it. The quality is acceptable but not superior like previous purchases. It’s a minimal design that just comes off as cheap to be to me.

The laptop pocket is too small for my 16” MacBook Pro in its protective shell case - it will tightly fit the width but I would have to take everything out of the bag every time I want to get the laptop in and out of the bag. Worse than this is that the sleeve does not cover the length of the laptop so doesn’t offer the protection I would want rendering it useless. The whole point of getting it was to put the laptop in the sleeve, my midi keyboard and other music tech kit in the main part of the bag.

As a repeat customer with a lot of Millican bags I am really disappointed with this purchase and was rather underwhelmed with a previous purchase of the messenger bag. I really wanted to buy the duffle bag but I think I will be shopping around now. I love my old messenger bag and my rucksacks though.
