Smith the Original Roll 15L is made for taking life as it comes. This adaptable daypack offers the same multi-functional dependability and thoughtful features as its larger 25L cousin, but in a slightly more compact package. Featuring a wide array of discreet pockets and organisation this simple, yet versatile, pack is honed for short trips, the morning commute, and the odd detour on lifes journey.

Smith the Original Roll offers everyday utility with its adaptable design. Whether you’re cycling, hiking, or simply commuting, its fully adjustable, padded shoulder straps and removable sternum strap offer a tailor-made fit for your journey. A discreet padded compartment securely houses your laptop for a seamless commute, while a hidden external zip pocket paired with an internal key ring keeps your valuables safe. A spacious front pocket - complete with an internal organiser - and two additional stretch side pockets provide quick access to your essentials, and a series of internal organiser compartments ensure everything stays perfectly in place.
The classic roll-top closure expands your packing capacity when needed, defying the 15L label, while still enabling a compact setup for light travel. The 15L Smith Roll perfectly marries a sleek design with versatile functionality - ready to accompany you on every adventure.
When re-engineering the Smith Original Roll, we searched high and low for the perfect fabric and were thrilled to discover existing unused stock of the original Bionic® cotton canvas. Used to create the first Smith Roll bags, we’ve now had the opportunity to restore them with their intended fabric.
The Bionic® canvas perfectly blends recycled post-consumer plastic and natural cotton. It’s free from PFAS and uses PFC-free C0 water-repellent coating. With sustainability at the core of what we try to create, the opportunity to bring back Smith the Original Roll without requiring the production of new fabric was too good to pass up. We love the result, we hope you will too.

- Fully adjustable, padded ergonomic shoulder straps, with improved buckle design to avoid strap slipping
- Removable sternum strap for cycling, hiking, and other active pursuits. Compatible with the Millican waist strap (sold separately)
- An incredibly versatile roll-top closure - expandable to carry larger loads or roll down when travelling light
- A concealed, easy-access padded laptop sleeve (up to 13”)
- External hidden zip pocket for valuables, with internal key ring attachment
- External front pocket and two side pockets
- Internal dividers for laptops, maps, phones, documents and all your adventure gear

- Lining: Durable lightweight weave, using 100% recycled & recyclable PET made from post-consumer waste
- Buckles: Ultra-premium aluminium Trimmers buckles
- Webbing: Durable high-grade polyester webbing

- Made in China in our responsibly-run and independently-audited factory – SA8000 compliant, adhering to the highest social standards
