I just love this bag!

This was my third bag which I got from Millican (previously roll the smith pack and messenger bag). I love it as much as others, maybe more.

Size is just perfect for travelling and side pockets allow me to carry my tripod with me. I can put it everything I need for a week on travels and feels great on my back. I also use it for my grocery shopping, since I buy a lot usually 😄
It didn't let me down during the rain, on forest trail, nor when it was fully packed to extreme when I moved my flat.

Just one note, the laptop pocket is not containing cushioning, so keep that in mind that it might rub with other stuff which are in the same pocket :)

Thank you for your enthusiastic review, Jan.

It's awesome to hear that you've expanded your Millican collection and the 32L Fraser stands out as a favorite. We appreciate your feedback on its size and pockets. Given it's designed for more adventurous activities, the laptop sleeve padding was less emphasised compared to our more urban models. Thank you for highlighting this for our other customers, and thanks again for your support!

Best wishes,
The Millican Team

Incredibly comfortable and Tardi-like space inside

Was pleased with this when it arrived and a brief use as a work bag went well but wanted to see how it perform at something closer to its intended use beofre reviewing.
I've now done that and am only more impressed with mine.
Had a weekend away with my wife and daughter and used this to carry mine and my daughter's clothes. Because we wanted to explore I did a good bit of walking with everything.
First thing to mention is the size, as other people have mentioned 32l seems to be underestimating by quite a bit. I have 25l bags that hold about half the amount.
This is partly enabled by having on big compartment inside so some sort of packing bags/cubes makes a lot of sense. I used the Millican three pack plus some Osprey UL bags. There are also a number of very useable smaller pockets to help with organising things.
This bag is extremely comfortable, with waist strap attached it feels half the weight you expect from lifting it due to how well the weight is distributed.
It made a long (5 miles plus) trek very bearable for a newbie to carrying that amount.
On the return journey we had some rain and the contents were kept completely dry although I did try to avoid the rain so not a thorough test.
We were in busy parts of London so I had some security concerns, however with the bag stuffed and straps pulled tightly I felt it was as safe as anything could be.
Really pleased with my Fraser 32l, having read reviews previously I knew it would be grey not pure black but I am very happy with colour, grey feels smart enough for the office but also looks tough and outdoorsy but with a nice stealth feel.
Having read about Millican some time ago I had looked at products before but very glad I took the plunge and bought some.

Thank you so much for sharing your detailed experience with The Fraser 32L!

It is great to hear your insights about the size, organisation, and security aspects of the bag - these are super valuable for our community!

We look forward to being a part of your future journeys.

Best wishes,
The Millican Team

Nearly all adverts show the Green 32l bag.

Disappointing that nearly all the advertising literature shows the moss Green 32l rucksack but it’s the one sold out everywhere!

Hi Richard,

Apologies for any disappointment! We share your enthusiasm for the Moss colorway, and we're committed to reintroducing it to our site. We can't give an accurate timeframe just yet, but we're hoping to refresh our product catalogue by the end of 2024.

Kind regards,
The Millican Team

Didn't last as long as Id hoped

I love everything about this backpack except for the bottom which would make contact with the ground. I wish they stitched an extra layer of protection there. I have the 25L and it's completely ripped apart at the bottom. I've used it plenty over the last 2 years so It definitely has some wear but I'm a bit disappointed that I only got a couple years out of it. Especially since my last Marmot bag lasted for 7 years.

Buckle for shoulder straps won't hold

I bought this backpack in november 2019, so I've used for some time now. One south east asia trip with family and many weekend getaway, to and from work, gym and everyday use. I bought out for the great design, the sustainability perspective and the quality from other consumers. But now I must tell you that this backpack is a disappointment to me. The buckle for the shoulder straps won't hold, so my backpack is an a**pack after a few minutes of walking. Specially if a have my laptop, a pair of shoes os some books in or if it's really all empty. Perhaps there is a perfect weight for the bag, no more no less so to speak? If you don't load it full (only with light weight stuff, see my experience of heavy loads) the straps will hang all over and you look like a parachute jumper who has done a poor job packing his parachute. This morning I was late so I had to run the last 200 meters to my bus, you just shouldn't to this with your Millican bag, it will be hanging by your knees very quickly as the straps loosen themselves.

I have not changed anything or made any adjustments in the straps since factory.
