my bag arrived stained - see images. Also note that the color of leather patch has been altered on the bluish grey version of the bag. See images.
The fit is very tight for a 14" mac (or 13" older mac, their the same dimensions). if you expect to use it daily with a laptop, go for the 18L larger version because it's hard to get the mac in and out. the bag looks like it's good build quality. I just wish it wasn't stained and in the colors shown on the product page.

I bought it, knowing the quality of Millican bags, having already purchased a holdall style bag 3 years ago. As expected, absolutely brilliant backpack; sturdy construction and for its size, lots of well placed and thoughtful pockets, waterproof and easy strap usage. Why would you buy from another retailer.
The construction is great; I like the minimalist external design; I think the same approach should have been applied internally, too - there are too many pockets and bits and bobs, and they kinda get in the way. I’d have preferred a simple, unfussy main compartment without pockets. But my biggest grumble is my own fault - I bought the 15L, but I’m quite tall (186cm) and this looks like a kids’ backpack on me. The extra 5cm on the 18L would have been a better buy after all.
